Rubi RC-10 1 liter cement remover is an effective cleaner for removing residue adhering to the surface of ceramic tiles during construction and renovation work.
This product is indicated for cleaning cement stains, mortar, cement glue, and any type of lime-based substance.
It is also suitable for cleaning efflorescence stains (saltpeter) on brick walls, terraces of baked earth or tuff, etc.
For the correct application of Rubi RC-10 cement remover, it is recommended to follow the following steps:
USE OF RUBI RC-10 CURACEMENTS
- Apply the product on the stain (pure if it is a cement stain, or mixing one part of the product with one part of water if it is cleaning efflorescence).
- Leave it to act for 3-4 minutes (an effervescence will be observed on mortar or cement stains).
- Rub vigorously with a brush or scouring pad.
- Rinse with plenty of water while continuing to rub.
- Dry with a cotton cloth. If dirt remains, repeat the operation (for large deposits more than one application will be necessary)
PRECAUTIONS
- Do not apply on surfaces sensitive to acids (marble, terrazzo, hydraulic mosaic, and in general any type of polished natural stone).
- Although the product can be used without problems on stoneware and tiles, there are some old ceramics that have poor vitrification. Using the product on these ceramics can damage the enamel, so it is recommended to do a small test to evaluate the results.
- Avoid contact of the product with metal surfaces (aluminum, stainless steel, iron, etc.)
- It can damage the pigments of some colored joints.
- Respect the product application times. A longer application time may lead to the formation of corrosive vapors.
- ALWAYS CARRY OUT A SMALL TEST IN AN INVISIBLE AREA TO EVALUATE THE RESULTS.
The performance of RC-10 will depend on how the product is applied, having approximately a yield of 2 m²/l if applied neat, about 12 m²/l if applied diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio (recommended dilution for cleaning efflorescence), or about 40 m²/l if applied diluted with water in a 1:5 ratio for general cleaning. Note : The yields are indicative.
