Keralastic T is a two-component adhesive free of solvent and water, elastic and waterproof, consisting of a polyurethane base (component A) and a special hardener (component B).

CHARACTERISTICS

By mixing the two components together, a paste with the following characteristics is obtained:

• Easy workability
• Optimal durability and resistance to aging
• Perfect adhesion on all supports used in construction
• Hardens through a chemical reaction without shrinkage, until it assumes a notable resistance
• High elasticity
• In the case of Keralastic T, high thixotropy: it can be applied vertically without casting and without letting the tiles loose, even of heavy weight and format. The resistance to vertical slipping complies with EN 1308.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Do not place on very humid surfaces or where there is fear of rising humidity due to capillarity.
• The containers are pre-dosed to avoid mixing errors. Do not try to use portions of the product by mixing the two components by eye: an incorrect mixing ratio affects the hardening capacity.
• Use the products at temperatures between +10º C and +30º C
• In the case of using the products on surfaces exposed to continuous immersion in water, consult the MAPEI Technical Service beforehand.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

Gluing on walls and floors, exterior and interior, of ceramic tiles, stone material and mosaic of any type on:

• Screeds, plasters, concrete, asphalt, wood, metal, PVC, reinforced polyester, fiber cement, plaster, plasterboard, prefabricated gypsum panels, etc.

• Gluing ceramic tiles, stone material and mosaic of any type, in showers and laminates used in prefabricated bathrooms
• Gluing ceramic and mosaic on wooden work surfaces or kitchens and their waterproofing
• Bonding ceramics, stone materials and mosaics on balconies, outdoor terraces, flat roofs or domes
• Bonding of natural stones and recomposed materials (marble of any type, Verde Alpi, Ardesita, etc.), also subject to movements and dimensional variations due to water absorption (class C of dimensional stability according to the MAPEI standard)
• Bonding ceramics and stone materials on supports subject to strong vibrations and deformations
