Susurro is soft and light, making it the ultimate summer yarn.  Susurro is a luxurious blend of Mulberry silk, Merino wool, and Linen wound as a single ply into a DK/Sport weight.  The fusion of these 3 very different fibers results in an amazing depth of color, giving the yarn an almost metallic sheen.  This yarn has a marvelous balance due to the sharp contrast between the crude texture of the linen and the silkiness of the Merino.

Great for: Shawls, scarves, accessories, lace, textured stitches, cables, lightweight garments.

Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag. In the tagged (*) colors, the skeins may vary one from the other even within the same bag. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.

COLOR DESCRIPTIONS:  Yarn Loop has an in house photography studio and photographs every dye lot received.  We find this especially helpful with Malabrigo's kettle dyeing process so that we have accurate representation of the yarn on hand.

Aguas - muted greens with undertones of slate

Chrysocolla - rustic, variegated light blue, teal, navy, black with specks of orange dabbled throughout 

Cian - vibrant turquoise with striations of ecru

Fire Agate - light grey base speckled with copper, blue, charcoal

Frank Ochre - heathered muted yellow with puce green & copper undertones

Fucsia - heathered hot pink with ecru striations

Matisse Blue - heathered vibrant royale blue with undertones of purple & striations of ecru

Natural- off white/ecru

Pearl - platinum grey

Ravelry Red - heathered cherry red with undertones of hot pink & ecru striations

Sunset - burnt orange

Tourmaline - ecru base heavily speckled with muted neutral colors like tan, brown, cream, mocha.  Specked with flashes of orange, camo green and blue, too

Water Green - pale mint green with a bluish tint

Whales Road - heathered, variegated dark purple and navy with ecru striations

A note on Special Order Colors: You may select any current color from the Malabrigo catalog.  Yarn Loop will verify its availability (in-stock or backordered) and the estimated arrival date via email.  If an item is backordered, you will have the option to receive a full refund or to wait for the item.  There is no upcharge on Special Order colors.
