Peach - Citrus - Zesty
We love the wines made by Strekov 1075's Zsolt Sütő, who farms 12 hectares of vines in the southern Slovakian village of Strekov. This is a collaboration with a grower called Peter Sroner, who brings his organic Chardonnay grapes to the Strekov cellar for vinification. The grapes were harvested by hand and underwent direct press. The wine was bottled before fermentation was complete in order to trap fizz inside the bottle, then bottled with no fining, filtration nor added sulphur.
This is an extremey classy pet nat - a fruit-forward Champagne-style with notes of citrus and peach.
