TURN DROP BAR LATCH

Are you looking for a nice door latch? Here it is!

Here is a turn drop bar latch with an inner mechanism (spindle) to move a latch bar upwards and downwards in a view of a fox laying on a branch (the other side has a rabbit staying on a branch). It is done in a technique of the artistic forging.

Sizes:
Length of a fox body (excl stretched front legs): 13 cm (5").
If you need specific sizes please let me know. If not, it will be done on my own discretion per the listing photos sizes.

Please let me know a depth of your door/gate to adjust a spindle correctly.

Colour: black covered with some bronze and copper patina.

Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen. There might be slight differences in sizes since each piece is hand made.

WAY OF PRODUCTION
The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.
