About Christopher Belleau

"There are many reasons why I work with glass. Though I was trained as a potter, apprenticing at age 13 to a craftsman from my home town in Wisconsin, I was eventually drawn to the more ethereal, fluid and translucent qualities of glass. But what really hooked me was the opportunity glass provides to play with color. I am the only glass blower in Rhode Island that makes colored glass from the raw ingredients on a regular basis. This allows for variations of intensity of hue, tone and depth which are not available with commercial colors. Recently, I have been experimenting with irridizing hot glass. I am captivated by the rainbow flow of colors with the variations of metalic and matt surface textures.

One of the aspects I truly enjoy about my profession is teamwork. Most of what I make requires the skill of another set of hands. I have the good fortune of working with many talented assistants. They have all brought with them unique ideas and ways of working from which I have learned and benefited.

The main focus of my work for the last 30 years has been the creation and production of glass flowers. Initially, I didn't even want to make flowers. A lot of glass blowers were doing them and they all looked pretty much the same. But the challenge of rendering these natural subjects in glass soon caught my imagination and I was on fire with ideas. I'm not attempting to make botanical specimens. Instead, I am making works of art inspired by nature. One of the tools I use to make flowers I developed for another purpose, making fish fins. I now have a line of more than 30 flower forms ranging from familiar flowers and exotics to purely fanciful. The most popular flower in my line is the iris. Though I make many flowers, each one is a unique creation requiring intense concentration and often great skill to produce.

In addition to flowers, I make many different types of vases, paperweights, perfume bottles, jewelry and other sculpture. One of my favorite things to make is glass fish. I am inspired by the infinite varieties and patterns of fish in nature. I enjoy letting my imagination run wild in their design.

I hope that the viewer finds my work to have a sense of beauty, magic, and maybe, even humor. It is a pleasure for me to share what I do. I find it all great fun and an endless challenge."

Works reasonably well, though with an Achilles' Heel.
Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1
I've had to use this on tires that were very low, both on cars and on bicycles. It works exactly as you'd expect and absolutely has no trouble handling the much higher pressures of bike tires as well as the much larger volumes of typical car tires. I kind of wish it came with some sort of pouch or something because the box it comes in is the only means to store it with all of its attachments,; Because of how tightly it's all packed in the box, it's a bit of a pain getting it all arranged neatly in the box each time, but that's a minor quibble. If Amazon reviews allowed fractional star earnings, I'd probably rate this more accurately a 3.75 or 3.875. It still has two little flaws. One is the accuracy of its pressure gauge. It always seems to fall just a little short. For example, on my car, recommended cold pressure is 36 psi in front and 39 in the back. I tried pumping to those levels, and everything looked fine. But immediately afterwards, the TPMS sensors would tell me I'm at 35 and 37. Likewise, I like to keep my bike tires at around 42 psi for my commuter bike and around 70 psi for a road bike. After using this little guy, and double checking with a separate gauge, I was getting closer to 40 psi and 67.5 psi respectively. I'm inclined to believe it's a calibration/QC problem and there might be examples that overinflate, too. So while I got one that was overestimating the actual pressure, you might get one that has the opposite issue. Still, close enough that I'm not docking it a full point for this, but a faction of a point. The biggest weakness of this device is really a double-edged sword -- its compactness. The fact that it is compact means that it fits very nicely in the under-trunk storage or even a glovebox in some cars. Problem is that when the device is small, so too is the battery. There's just no escaping this. I had a moment with all 4 tires on my car being on the low side in terms of tire pressure. They were all underinflated by about 6-7 psi below spec and so I just used this pump to get them all up to that target pressure. Even with a full charge, I could not get all 4 tires all the way up to target pressures. I could get the 4th tire about halfway there, but that was where the battery died. That's just a reality you will probably have to live with. Given that it is such a small device, this is basically inevitable, so there's no sense complaining about it, but it is a reality you should be aware of.

An Easy DIY Headlight Restoration Kit with Strong Appeal
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This restoration kit is appealing because it offers a way to improve cloudy or oxidized headlights without needing power tools. That makes it accessible for people who want to do the job themselves without investing in extra equipment. Cerakote also has a strong reputation in protective coatings, which gives this kit added credibility compared with generic restoration products. The biggest selling point is the promise of restoring clarity while adding a protective finish to help maintain the results. If the process is easy to follow and the wipes are effective, this can be a worthwhile DIY option for improving both appearance and nighttime visibility. For vehicle owners with faded headlights, this seems like one of the more convenient restoration approaches available.

Perfect
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Honestly one of the best headlight restoration kits I’ve used. The instructions were simple, the process was easy to follow, and the results were way better than expected. My headlights were heavily oxidized and yellow, and after using the 2000/3000 grit sanding steps with the ceramic coating, they looked almost brand new again. The ceramic finish made them crystal clear and glossy. Definitely worth the money and much better than cheap polish-only kits.

Very happy with the outcome, worked perfectly
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I was very happy with the CERAKOTE Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit. The instructions were simple to follow, and the whole process was much easier than I expected. My headlights were cloudy and dull before using it, but after completing the steps, they looked dramatically clearer and much closer to new. The kit included everything needed, and I liked that it did not require any extra tools or complicated equipment. The results made a noticeable difference in the appearance of the vehicle, and the headlights also seem brighter at night. Overall, this is a great product that does exactly what it claims. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and effective way to restore foggy headlights.

Highly Recommend – Amazing Results on My Honda Accords!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I recently used the Cerakote Headlight Restoration Kit on both my 2008 and 2014 Honda Accords, and I’m genuinely impressed. The headlights on both cars were badly oxidized, hazy, and yellowed from years of sun exposure. After following the kit’s instructions, they look crystal clear and almost like new again. The process is pretty straightforward and beginner-friendly. It does take roughly an hour per headlight set if you follow all the steps carefully and allow proper air drying time before the final clear coat. There’s a bit of elbow grease involved with the sanding and polishing stages, but nothing overly difficult. The kit provides everything you need, and the instructions are clear. The results are excellent! Both cars now have headlights that look factory-fresh. I’m really happy with how bright and clear they are at night. Best part? I saved a ton of money by restoring them instead of buying expensive OEM replacements. The only minor uncertainty is long-term durability (how well the clear coat holds up after a couple years of sun, weather, and car washes), but for the price and the dramatic improvement I saw, it’s absolutely worth it. I’d definitely buy this kit again if needed. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with cloudy headlights. Great product that delivers professional-looking results at a fraction of the cost!
