De Llavors Tinto Cabernet Sauvignon is een karaktervolle rode wijn uit Spanje, afkomstig uit de regio Empordà in Catalonië, in het noordoosten van het land vlak bij de Franse grens. Deze wijn is gemaakt van 38% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Syrah, 9% Cabernet Franc en 3% Cariñena. De druiven worden zorgvuldig geoogst en de wijn rijpt 3 maanden op Frans eiken en daarna nog 3 maanden op Sloveens eiken, waardoor hij extra diepte krijgt zonder zijn fruitige stijl te verliezen.

In geur en smaak proef je rijpe bramen, zwarte bessen en pruimen, met tonen van kruiden, cacao en een lichte houtinvloed. De wijn voelt vol en soepel aan, met zachte tannines en een lange, evenwichtige afdronk. Deze wijn is heerlijk bij gegrild vlees, stoofgerechten, pasta met rijke saus of stevige kazen. Serveer de wijn op 16–18 °C voor de beste smaakbeleving.

La Vinyeta is een jong en dynamisch familiebedrijf uit Mollet de Peralada in de Empordà. Het wijnhuis begon in 2002 en groeide uit tot een project met een sterke focus op terroir, lokale tradities en duurzaamheid. Wat deze wijn extra bijzonder maakt, is het etiket: elk jaar wordt gewerkt met fragmenten uit lokale kranten van dat oogstjaar, waardoor elke fles een klein stukje van zijn eigen verhaal vertelt.

You just lay your head down on it and it forms around your neck and your head and when you get up, it goes right back to its normal form. It doesn’t get flat and I love it. I completely recommend this to anyone who is a person who has a hard time finding a really good pillow.
