Bertani is een historisch bedrijf in de wijnscene van zowel de regio Veneto als in heel Italië. Opgericht in 1857 door de broers Giovan Battista en Gaetano Bersani, begonnen ze hun eigen druiven te bewerken. Ze werden altijd beschouwd als vernieuwers, zowel op het land als in de kelder, door te experimenteren met nieuwe technieken slaagden ze erin om ongelooflijk hoge kwaliteit wijnen te maken die in die tijd verrassend en uniek waren. In het midden van de 20e eeuw werd het landgoed Villa Novare in het Valpolicella-gebied gekocht met zijn 220 hectare wijnstokken waaruit de wereldberoemde Amarone Bertani werd geproduceerd. Tegenwoordig produceert Bertani ongeveer 2.000.000 flessen wijn uit de regio's Valpolicella, Lugana en Bardolino.6 maanden houtlagering voor Bertani Soave Sereole
De Garganega-druiven zijn Pergola-Veronese getraind met een plantdichtheid van 3000 planten per hectare en verticaal getralied met een dichtheid van 5000 planten / ha. De handmatige oogst vindt plaats in oktober. De druiven worden ontsteeld en zacht geplet met gedeeltelijk contact op de schil bij een lage temperatuur van 45 graden, gevolgd door gisting bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur van ongeveer 60 graden in Franse eiken vaten. De rijping vindt plaats op de droesem in grote houten vaten gedurende ongeveer zes maanden, gevolgd door minstens drie maanden rijping op de fles. De Soave Sereole Bertani is fonkelend lichtgeel van kleur met een groen schijnsel. Uitnodigend en zuiver van geur met nuances van appel, perzik, bloemen, vanille en een fijne amandeltoets. Zachtdroom van smaak en heerlijk vol en sappig met een fijne houttoets in de finale. Op de tong proefde wij indrukken van ananas, appel, meloen en iets van groene kruiden zoals munt. Healthy, natural treat my dogs actually love—no mess!

These pig ears are the perfect natural alternative to rawhide. All three of my dogs go crazy for them, and I feel good giving them a single-ingredient treat.
What I used them for:
Occasional chew treats for my three dogs.
Pros:

Doesn’t stain or leave a mess despite slobber
Good size for medium to large dogs
Cons:

Nice Enough for the price!

Good price, not all are big though. But, they look like nice pigs ears and we got 13 instead of 12 (Oliver is eating one as I type so it’s not include in my pic, lol). I will order another bag fr his Christmas gift to share with his dog buddies.
