The original RC10 from Associated is what got the RPM brand started 20+ years ago. With the release of the RC10 Classic, we’ve received enough demand to bring back one of our staple products from back then. However, we’ve stepped it up and instead of re-releasing an old part, we’ve completely revamped our “new” gear cover to modern spec’s.

Quick Notes

  • Replaces stock Associated #6608
  • Only fits the RC10, RC10 Classic & RC10T
  • Maximum spur gear size is 81T when used with 6 gear transmissions
  • Maximum spur gear size is 87T when used with Stealth transmissions

This new version has smoother contours than the original, completely seals off the gear case from dirt and debris and has added clearance in several areas. Our “new” gear cover has a larger, taller area for bigger pinions than the stock gear cover and the spur area has been expanded to allow the use of the VTS slipper clutch from Associated. Each RPM RC10 & RC10T Classic Gear Cover comes with our oversized, soft gear cover plug (originally designed 20+ years ago and still going strong) for easy access to the slipper clutch lock nut while still maintaining a superb seal against dirt and debris.

Refunded my purchase price
I purchased the "TESmart" 2 computer KVM Switch. I always get the added warranty these day for electronics and I am glad I did. It has now been 3 years and the unit has stopped working correctly. It would switch between computers but the mouse and keyboard stopped working for one of the computers. I'm not sure exactly which component stopped working because the keyboard and mouse worked fine for the other computer. I did plugged the mouse and keyboard directly to the computer in question and they worked fine. I believe the "push threw" stopped for my W11 computer, meanwhile, the W7 computer keeps trucking on. I say all that to say this, it's worth paying a few dollars more to get that little bit of extra security on the electronics these days. Unfortunately the prices have gone up on the KVM switches, at least the ones worth buying so I am in search of a new one now. ASURION was easy to work with. It wasn't that much of a hassle. The slight glitch I experienced was their automatic system didn't register my claim correctly. Only mistake I made was making the claim over a weekend. I would say if you make a claim do it during the normal business hours. I was able to chat with an agent during working hours and they were able to remedy the issue quickly. I did have to ship the KVM switch and its components to Asurion but they paid for shipping and once I was able to package and ship the unit back, Asurion refunded my purchase price completely with an Amazon Gift Card. So, all in all, it's all good!
