The Moon Jar(Dalhangari)  is a type of jar named for its round and generous shape, resembling a full moon. Though not perfectly symmetrical, its harmonious and natural form reflects the essence of Korean traditional aesthetics, which values warmth and human touch. This petite-sized object is crafted by thickly layering silver onto the Moon jar and firing it multiple times. Silver Moon Collection

This is the ceramic work of Korean artist Eunsang Lee. The newly launched Luna Silver Collection, art-directed by his wife Koeun, features white porcelain pieces designed for everyday use, meticulously layered with silver and fired multiple times. These pieces serve beautifully as table objects or as home décor accents to add character to any space.

As each product is handmade, no two pieces are exactly alike. Variations in thickness may occur during the silver layering process, and subtle glaze bubbles may appear on the ceramic surface, adding to the unique charm of each piece.

Artist, Eunsang Lee

Growing up watching his father, a ceramic artist, Korean artist Eunsang Lee naturally followed in his footsteps. He creates ceramics by blending the unique techniques passed down from his father with his own distinctive style. For Lee, dedicating his full effort and sincerity to each piece is fundamental, but he believes that only when the fire in the kiln grants its approval can a true work of art be born. Shaped with this spirit of craftsmanship, his ceramics embody a quiet and elegant beauty, subtly enriching your space.

Care

Surface Appearance: Over time, silver may naturally darken. This is a natural characteristic, and using silver cleaning products can help slow down the tarnishing process. During the silver layering process, variations in thickness may occur, and subtle glaze bubbles may appear on the ceramic surface. These are natural features and not considered defects.

Cleaning: Do not use a dishwasher. For cleaning, gently hand wash using a soft sponge to maintain the quality of the silver surface.

Usage: Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher use.
