Part of Jacques Herbin's Eclats Fine Art range, this water-based liquid watercolor is designed to dilute, glaze, and blend with clarity. The cyan hue thins to transparent veils for atmosphere and gradients, then builds to saturated accents with additional passes. It mixes cleanly with other watercolor inks to extend your palette.

Working With the Ink

Use with brushes, waterbrushes, or dip nibs for line variation and soft tonal transitions. On watercolor or mixed-media paper, it lays down evenly and lifts readily while wet, making it straightforward to create highlights, fades, and layered depth. Cleanup is simple with water.

I hate washing dishes so I use these Dixie plates a lot and they are STURDY. They will carry a whole meal without wilting. The rim is deep enough that, should you be so inclined, you could eat ice cream out of them without any dripping or drooping worries. So something like spaghetti or lasagna would be easily handled.
