Il sorso è pieno e morbido nella trama tannica, giustamente fresco e leggermente minerale. Ottima la lunghezza.Se si parla di Etna è impossibile non citare la cantina Girolamo Russo, che ormai rappresenta un punto di riferimento imprescindibile del mondo enologico siciliano e non solo. Prodotto con uve coltivate secondo le norme dallagricoltura biologica, questo Etna Rosso DOC 'a Rina matura per un anno in barrique e tonneau di rovere. Riunisce piacevolmente le note fruttate ai tratti tipici e minerali del terroir, e viene anche impreziosito da delicati ricordi terziari rilasciati dallinvecchiamento in legno. È un Etna Rosso veramente da manuale, e per di più non è necessario prosciugarsi il portafogli per poterlo assaggiare.
Perfetto con le preparazioni a base di pollame nobile, è da abbinare ai pici al ragù doca.
