It has been cut with gouges and knives from two blocks and printed on Sarahs little Adana press in a dark blue and a strong orange ink. Sarah Young is a painter, printmaker, illustrator and maker working with narrative themes often inspired by myth, folk tales, circus and burlesque imagery. As a printmaker she is known for her lino and wood cuts but she also works in screen printing, mono print and collagraph.
