"Matrimandir and the Park of Unity" is the result of a photographic project by artist Ireno Guerci, which has lasted over 30 years. Ireno Guerci is an Italian award winning photographer whose photographs have been published on several books and are part of public and private collections. This book is a selection of images taken in and around the Matrimandir area. It has been divided into three chapters: “The Place, The Work, and The People”. The photographic work opens with a foreword written by Paolo Tommasi, and is followed by an introduction from Alan Herbert.

The images presented here not only act as a testament to the true beauty that is the Matrimandir, but also perform a more functional, archival duty. That is to say, the images very poetically capture the graceful nature of the place, but also bear witness to the years of work and time which were invested in its creation.

Whoever picks up a copy of this photographic book, is offered a vivid depiction of the collective ethos of this intriguing place, the people who built it, and those who cherish it.

Through Ireno’s images of the magical surroundings, the elaborate architecture, and the joyous festivities, this book pronounces not just one, but the many faces of the Matrimandir.

Injured finger from use
Color: Black/Battery
Just used the product for the first time today. Beware, it does work but it cut my daughter’s finger open really bad because it made the edge of the can stringy and she cut her finger on it. Be careful.

Such a convenient little tool
Color: Red/Battery
Once I figured out how to use it, I wondered what took me so long to purchase it. Very easy to get the hang of using. Not too fast, not too heavy, not too noisy, just perfect can opener without all the hardworking and spilling contents all over the place.
