Following the paths of the darkest mystical arts, the supreme sorcerer hovers with his Cloak of Levitation over threatening tentacles while casting with his hands the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak spell, a mystic “substance” impenetrable and almost indestructible, capable of magically capturing his enemies. Sad for turning into the dark side, absorbing many interdimensional beings to obtain power, with a countenance of thin pale skin and gray bags under his eyes, his arrogant and stubborn posture resulted in serious consequences for his reality. Iron Studios bring the statue "Strange Supreme Deluxe- What If...? - Art Scale 1/10" with the alternate version of Doctor Strange from Earth-199999, from the animated series What If...? produced by Marvel Studios and released on Disney+.

In another reality of the Multiverse, Dr.Stephen Strange also suffered a serious car accident, but, in this world, instead of losing his hands’ mobility as a surgeon, this tragic outcome caused the death of his passenger and girlfriend Christine Palmer. With sadness and remorse, Stephen traveled around the world in search of a way of reviving the love of his life and found “The Eye of Agamotto”, cradle of the temporal singularity. Here, Strange also salved the universe from Dormammu, becoming Sorcerer Supreme and guardian of The Eye of Agamotto, and started studying the timeline’s manipulation and modification so that he could, two years after her death, go back in time and save Christine’s life. But no matter how much he tried to change the events of that night, Christine always ended up passing away somehow, because her death was an Absolute Point in time, and that made it immutable and unshakable. Unable to accept it and convinced that he could create a paradox, he started to expand his powers through the absorption of other beings, transforming into Doctor Strange Supreme, but resulting in terrible consequences.

Appearing for the first time as the protagonist in the fourth episode of Marvel’s anthological animated series What If...?, voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, his actor in the MCU movies, the visual of Strange Supreme, despite having darker tones, brings a design more similar to his classic version from the comics. Revealed on the Inside Iron Studios Day and already available for Pre-Order, just like the previously presented statues "Zombie Captain America - What If...? - Art Scale 1/10", "Captain Carter - What If...? - Art Scale 1/10" and the recent "The Watcher - What If...? - Art Scale 1/10" and "Infinity Ultron Deluxe - What If...? - Art Scale 1/10" by Iron Studios, Strange Supreme adds to the collection derivative from the animated series, part of Phase Four in the MCU, with a second season being produced, and scheduled to release later this year.

Format: Paperback
This is a shifter romance that features a non-binary wolf whose father, an Alpha, is stuck in the old ways of running a pack. In comes Heather, featured within the previous installment of the series, who doubts herself and has self-hatred due to her strained relationship with her mother. There are werewolves, witches, dominants and submissives. It's a slow building romance at first and then full steam ahead. For those who are triggered by self-doubt, you may want to pass this up as well as those who hate the mention of the phrase mate or my mate. It is a good second installment of the series with enough open ended content to have a third book on the horizon.

A ghost story with tons of heart
Format: Hardcover
On the surface, this is a story about two kids ghost hunting in the Appalachian woods. But in reality, it's a beautifully nuanced exploration of loving (but messy) families, opening up to those you love, kindling new friendships, cherishing and protecting the environment, facing challenging emotions head on, and so much more. I'm so grateful that highly sensitive children (and adults) will get to know this empathetic, peace-keeping main character. There are so many protagonists that save the day with their heroics, but bravery so much more often looks like Tennie. This book serves as a beautiful reminder for those of us constantly filling others' buckets that our own needs and wants matter too.

Delightful spooky middle grade
Format: Hardcover
I was thrilled to learn that Ash Van Otterloo was releasing a second spooky middle grade set in Howler's Hollow. Instead of the zombies we find in Cattywampus, this book stars a girl who can release memories and, it turns out, ghosts from objects. She needs to figure out what the ghosts are trying to tell her before it's too late.

Good middle-grade fantasy/mystery
Format: Kindle
The they/them pronouns made for difficult reading at times but the strength of the family a friendship dynamics more than made up for that. An adult reader may see some of the ‘surprises’ coming but typical middle grade readers probably wouldn’t be able to read between the lines well enough to spoil the surprise twists.

A book with so much heart
Format: Kindle
An absolutely delightful story with the perfect amount of spookiness. Light-hearted but also deep in its exploration of the ways we push down our own souls because of what we think others need.
