This one is solid, beautiful, and worked well with a sharp knife. It stayed firm on the counter, without sliding. The trough around the perimeter was effective in keeping any fluids from spilling onto the counter top. The size was perfect, allowing me to easily cut and contain the vegetables I was dealing with. Yet it was small enough to easily store and pull out for use. I followed the instructions for caring for the board, washing it with soapy water, drying it immediately, and wiping it with food safe oil. It’s been a solid purchase that will undoubtedly be a workhorse in my kitchen. The first use allowed me to toss my 3 cutting boards that I’ve been using for years and were worn. I’m anxious to see if it holds up with the daily use I’ll undoubtedly subject it to.
