Take command of your enterprise and edge IT from anywhere in the world with Vertiv Avocent DSView management software. This comprehensive IT management solution puts you in the driver’s seat, delivering a single, unified interface for complete data center and edge control. DSView is engineered to streamline operations, accelerate incident response, and simplify administration across highly distributed environments — from on-premises data centers to remote edge locations. Whether you’re managing physical servers, virtual machines, network gear, storage, or power devices, DSView consolidates control into a secure, scalable platform that grows with your organization.

  • Unified control from Enterprise to Edge: DSView provides a single pane of glass to manage servers, virtual environments, network devices, storage, rack PDUs, and UPS units. This eliminates tool sprawl, reduces overhead, and accelerates routine tasks by letting operators perform multi-device actions from one intuitive interface. The result is faster provisioning, easier compliance, and improved operational visibility across disparate sites.
  • Robust remote access with KVM over IP and serial support: Experience secure, real-time remote control of critical infrastructure. DSView’s KVM over IP and serial console integration enables hands-on management of servers and devices without site visits. This capability is essential for rapid troubleshooting, firmware updates, and incident response, especially in geographically dispersed environments or during off-hours.
  • Service Processor and VM management integration: DSView extends its reach to service processors and virtual machine lifecycles, giving you end-to-end visibility and control. Manage hardware health, firmware updates, and VM provisioning from a centralized console. This integrated approach reduces complexity, minimizes downtime, and ensures consistent policy enforcement across virtual and physical layers.
  • Security-focused, scalable architecture: Designed for enterprise-grade security, DSView supports role-based access control, audit logging, and secure authentication to protect sensitive infrastructure. The scalable architecture accommodates growing data centers and expanding edge deployments, while maintaining performance and reliable remote operations even as you scale.
  • Powerful data center and edge orchestration: DSView’s capabilities extend to rack PDUs and UPS management, enabling controlled power provisioning and energy-aware operations. IT teams can monitor, manage, and automate power events, battery health, and environmental considerations, helping to optimize uptime, energy efficiency, and operational resilience across all locations.

How to Install Vertiv Avocent DSView Management Software

  • Step 1 — Assess requirements and plan your deployment: Begin with a thorough assessment of your infrastructure, including the number of servers, storage systems, network devices, rack PDUs, UPS units, and physical locations. Define roles, access policies, and escalation procedures. Establish a clear topology so DSView can map devices to teams and responsibilities, ensuring scalable management as you grow.
  • Step 2 — Prepare the DSView environment: Prepare the server or appliance where DSView will be deployed, or plan for an on-premises installation if applicable. Verify network connectivity, firewall rules, and secure access options to support remote connectivity. Ensure you have the necessary licensing and that time synchronization and certificate management are configured for secure communications.
  • Step 3 — Add devices and establish connections: Begin integrating managed devices into DSView. For each server, storage, network device, rPDU, UPS, and service processor, configure access credentials, IP addresses, and any required out-of-band management settings. Where supported, enable KVM over IP and serial console access to enable hands-on control from the DSView interface.
  • Step 4 — Configure security and roles: Create user accounts and define role-based access controls aligned with your organizational policies. Implement strong authentication methods, define privilege levels for operators, administrators, and auditors, and set up audit logging to ensure traceability of all actions performed through DSView.
  • Step 5 — Validate, monitor, and automate: Run end-to-end validation to confirm remote access and power management workflows function as intended. Test VM provisioning and maintenance tasks, verify alerting and event notifications, and establish routine maintenance tasks or automation rules to streamline ongoing operations while maintaining governance and compliance.

Great no frills watch, love it.
Color: Blue/Black
This watch is a really nice and is perfect for me. It tells the time (duh!), the date and has a stopwatch feature I never use. Mostly I like that it is a no frills product, but it does its job. This is great for people that actually want something that tells the time and not some fancy gold bracelet to impress the ladies. Although I spend most of my time in front of a computer, I imagine this piece would be great for someone with an active lifestyle (biking, running, etc.). The watch itself is mostly plastic and watch-proof and the band is a fabric velcro. For a while I had the older model with a rubber strap and I like this new model much better. The strap is comfortable and easy to take on and off. I wish the strap was a little bigger though, it might be too small for someone with really fat arms. It does have an indiglo feature although I had the older model and the indiglo died after like 6 months. Hopefully this one will last. What can I say, its a watch. If you are looking for something simple with a classic design, look no further.

Everything I expected.
Color: Black/Red
Not the watch I would want as an adult but fits my son perfectly. It’s durable, red and makes him happy. It should last him until he is old enough to get a job and make his own style and life choices.

Timex now poor quality
Color: Blue/Black
These watches used to last me years. The past two of these have died in under 6 months. Worthless junk. Will avoid Timex from now on. A single drop of water and the button sends the watch into black screen and reset.

Good basic digital watch for women
Color: Black/Gray Stripe, Color: Black/Gray Stripe
Okay, so it's a great watch for women with small to medium wrists. Here's my pros and cons list: Pros: - Super easy to set. The package insert does NOT include instructions. This is my first Timex Expedition watch, so I had no experience going in. All you do is press Set and you use the Start and Stop buttons to move up and down, respectively, through the settings. Easy enough! - I love the simplicity of the watch. It's simple and easy to read. - It has the day of the week AND the month AND the date. I wanted to make sure any watch I get has these features. - The watch band seems high quality. It is fabric/nylon, so it should hold up for several years (we'll see I guess). - The Indiglo is pretty and works great in the dark! Cons: - I have to tighten the band as tight as possible in order to prevent the watch from wobbling around my wrist. It may be because my wrist is small and the watch itself is a bit heavy in comparison. I AM new to wearing a watch, so maybe it's just something I have to get used to. - The display is perfect, but only when looking at it straight on (when facing you directly). If you were to glance over at your watch while you're typing on your computer, you can't see the time. It's too blurry. So the viewing angles are terrible. You can only see the time if you look directly at it. Again, this might be an issue with all digital watches, but I sort of expected more in today's technological world. This is probably my biggest con and biggest disappointment. - The band holder is also nylon, so I had some trouble getting the extra band into the band holder. Now that I think more about it, I'm not sure what a better alternative would be for a nylon band... maybe if they glued the band holder on to the band, it wouldn't move around so much when trying to insert the band into the holder. Once you're inserted it, it seems to stay in place, though. So that's good. But I can see it loosening up and not working well in the future. I've only had this watch since yesterday, so I haven't been able to test its waterproofness yet. I will update this review if I am unhappy with the waterproofness. Overall, it's exactly what I was looking for: a basic digital watch that shows the day and date, with a band that is small enough to fit my female wrist. However, I would have liked it better if the price was $10-15 less than what I paid for it. UPDATE: I've since moved on to a few other watches since this one. I have concluded that I do NOT like having a cloth/nylon watch band, and I prefer the rubber/plastic bands now. The nylon band takes way too long to dry after a shower, whereas the plastic bands don't need ANY drying time. There are a lot of good plastic banded watches out there, and I've tried a few no-name brands on Amazon and have been happier with them than I was with this Timex. They are also not as heavy and floppy on my wrist.

Comfortable, stylish, and great for work or casual wear
Size: 36W x 32L, Color: Black
These DKNY slim fit chinos are a great balance between comfort and style. The stretch material makes a big difference — they move well throughout the day and don’t feel restrictive like some other slim fit pants. The fit is modern and clean without being too tight, which makes them easy to wear for both work and more casual settings. They look polished enough for the office but still comfortable enough for everyday use. The fabric feels good quality and has held up well so far. They don’t wrinkle too easily and keep their shape after wearing them for a full day. The 5-pocket design is also a nice touch, adding a bit of versatility compared to more traditional dress pants. If I had to mention one minor thing, it would be that sizing can feel slightly snug depending on preference, so if you’re between sizes you might want to consider sizing up. Overall, really solid pair of chinos — comfortable, versatile, and good quality for the price.
