Unveil legendary signature copper snare tone in celebration of one of music history’s most respected jazz drummers: the late Roy Haynes. Formed from 1.2mm copper and hammered to perfection, the LTD Roy Haynes Signature Hand-hammered Copper Snare Drum exudes a sound that glows with gorgeously deep and rich metallic energy. A fantastic hardware set complements this presence, with dependable Dyna Hoops, an onboard muting system, and a Q-type strainer, for impressive playability that few snares can match. This signature model is available in limited quantities, further cementing itself as an official commemoration of Roy’s legacy with Roy Haynes Centennial Special badging and a certificate of authenticity. Don’t delay — secure this piece of timekeeping history while you can and celebrate one of history’s most legendary drummers!

“Snap Crackle” copper tone
Roy Haynes’ signature “Snap Crackle” sound absolutely comes to life from the shell of this limited-edition snare. Beautifully crafted from the starting point of 1.2mm copper, the Roy Haynes Signature has been treated to meticulously precise hand-hammering by Yamaha’s world-class builders. Its copper construction, hammering pattern, and 45-degree R2.4 bearing edges combine to give the snare a complex musical personality, laden with depth, darkness, and body that will still cut and snap on the treble end, as a true copper snare should. As a result, drummers will find success implementing this backbeat into a range of musical genres, including rock, funk, R&B, hip-hop, and, of course, jazz!

Mutable and marvelously refined
An appointment of premium hardware refines the Roy Haynes Signature’s beautiful studio-grade copper tone to perfection. First of all, an adjustable mute mounted on the inside of the shell gives players instantaneous access to a subdued, vintage-esque sound for when those metallic overtones are too much. Yamaha’s 2.3mm Dyna Hoops provide exceptional triple-flanged tuning flexibility and a safe landing zone for the sides of your sticks. Underneath, the Roy Haynes Signature receives its snap from a 25-strand set of hi-carbon steel snare wires, controlled via a Q-type strainer mechanism for beautifully snappy and articulate response.

The immaculate Roy Haynes
The long, commendable career of late, great timekeeper Roy Haynes — or “Snap Crackle,” as he was most famously known — showcased unmistakable character and rhythmic vivacity within the realms of jazz and swing since the early 1940s. On top of an impressive on-record resume as a leader, Roy brought his distinct pulse to the rhythmic aid of some of jazz’s all-time greats, including Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Ray Charles, Steve Lacy, Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane, and Chick Corea. Now, Yamaha has devised this absolutely gorgeous hand-hammered copper drum to faithfully tribute the unique metallic snare tone that accompanied Roy’s historic tenure as one of history’s most important rhythm men.

Fun dog toy!
First, I was impressedby the quality of this ball. It seems quite well made. The adult twists it open, it's tight enough I know my dog cannot open it. Note - there are warnings it is dangerous for a dog to get to the inside. That noted, I would always supervise. There are two choices of modes, one more intense. Hold to activate your choice and tightly put back together. It worked right away, vibrating and shaking. The humans greatly enjoyed, especially a child. My dog, a bit fearful but curious. So we will slowly introduce to her. The is a USB cord included for charging, which is nice. Overall a fun item!

Fun
Great product and works as advertised. My dog is small and was not that interested in it, but my black Labrador was all about it. Simple to use and easy to charge. It’s durable and has lasted against my lab so far.

My kitten loves this ball
I originally got this for my 14-year-old dog because he has always loved balls, and I thought it might be a fun way to provide a little extra stimulation and entertainment. Unfortunately, he didn’t show much interest in it. However, I honestly think that may have had more to do with his age than the toy itself. The surprise was my kitten. She absolutely loved it and spent quite a bit of time chasing, batting, and interacting with it. Once she figured out that touching it would make it move, it really seemed to hold her attention. I mainly used the passive mode, where the toy only moves after being touched. I liked this setting because it felt less overwhelming and encouraged interaction without constantly running around on its own. Based on my experience, I think this toy is best suited for younger, curious pets that enjoy investigating moving objects. While it wasn’t a hit with my senior dog, it was definitely a success with my kitten. Overall, it seems well made, easy to use, and a fun option for playful pets.

My Puppy Loves this Indestructible Dragon
Size: Large, Color: Pink, Size: Large, Color: Pink
My puppy (8 month old black lab mix) loves, loves, loves her dragon. She has had it for 2 months now. It is one of her favorites and gets daily rough play time. It's her go-to toy for fetch and tug games, as well as just general mouthy play. The squeaker gave out after about 4 weeks, but she would binge squeak for prolonged periods (kind of like chomping on gum) so it was almost a blessing when it went silent. She still chomps on it, but at least now I don't have to hear it. Other than the fact that it's a little grungy and bedraggled from so much loving, it is still in amazing shape. The seams and fur are all still intact. There are no visible holes, rips, or weak spots. I love Chew Guard Technology. This dragon replaced her goDog Iguana (from PetSmart) that developed a tear in the fur after about 4 months of heavy use. (It was superficial, just the outer fur layer and not the innards, but we disposed of it before she could eat more fur.) She can be pretty rough on her toys and I can never predict if any given toy will last minutes or months. The goDog stuffies definitely fall into the "months" category, even with rough daily use. Edit: The dragon lasted about 6 months of intensive, hard play before it developed a small tear in the fur. I patched it a couple times, but once my pup discovers a weak spot, it's the kiss of death for any stuffed item. We had to dispose of the dragon (so sad) to keep her from eating any more of the fur. We replaced the dragon with the goDog Chameleon, which is still going strong. I think we will go back to the dragon for our next toy because it's just so darned cute. We gave the dragon to my niece for her golden retriever puppy who is very chew-happy. That dragon is also doing well. You've just gotta love that chew-guard technology. This is one tough toy.
