TURKANA’S Hotazel Motorcycle Exhaust Heat Shield is a very simple yet highly effective barrier between you/your equipment and a hot-as-hell exhaust.
Two sizes are available. 150mm and 250mm length.

An exhaust heat shield protecting your adventure motorcycle baggage.
Properly installed, the Turkana Gear heat shield will ensure your adventure motorcycle soft luggage and other equipment avoid any catastrophic meltdown. The exhaust heat shield is close fitting by design, so it’s not obtrusive, with sufficient gap between the exhaust and your baggage, ensuring there is sufficient airflow to dissipate the heat, preventing damage to your equipment and gear. Stainless steel is our material of choice due to its low thermal conductive properties, making for an excellent heat shield.
Designed, manufactured and tested on motorcycles running the hottest exhausts in close proximity of Hotazel, Kalahari Desert, South Africa.

Nice kit. Simple to assemble, simply packed, good weight for the metal and the shade cloth. Actual width between attachment points is 44 inches. Tubing goes together with those push button things like on aluminum table legs. Priced commensurate with quality.

Very ridged!
I put this on my can am outlander 850 and it was not a hard job to install it.
Shade cloth is nice and so far holding up good to what I put it through.
Tubing has the push buttons so putting it all together is pretty easy.
I had to make some clips myself to get the install right but it was no big deal.
5 stars!!
