LB15V Lithium Primary Battery

The LB15V is a Primary Lithium non-rechargeable battery that is only intended for use when the SR303 is being used in an emergency situation. It includes a battery witness label so that there is never any question as to whether the primary battery has been used or not. Once the witness label is removed, the radio will auto power on when the battery is connected, and the unit will also automatically enter GMDSS operation mode with the following preset settings: channel 16, volume level 8, and squelch set to 2. This battery is the only battery included when the SR303 radio is purchased as an Emergency Radio (p/n 4586). When the SR303 is purchased as an Emergency Radio Full Kit (p/n 4587), then the LB15V Primary non-rechargeable is included in addition to the RB16V rechargeable Lithium battery for everyday use.

Delivered as pictured and described. I was a bit concerned because of the super low price, thinking maybe it was a discontinued model due to problems but we've had good experiences with Belkin products so I went with this one... When facing it plugged into the outlet, the cord does lean right as advertised. Length is also correct. True white, not an almond color, so it looks nice with white outlet and carpet where visible. The switch is effectively placed on the end where the cord comes out so it's harder to accidentally switch off. Also it lights up on top to indicate green for protected or red for not grounded. Also designed for a phone line on the opposite end but we haven't had use for that where we are using this surge protector. Will update this review should we utilize that feature or have any issues. Strong magnet, looser fit than I like. Once I hang my headphones on the hanger it weighs it down enough to make the tab in the back not do it's job of keeping the base station from slipping out. I squeezed/pinched/bent the plastic together and it is working for now, but the plastic is flexible and I have a feeling I will be doing this again or needing to put some sort of support on the back. It came with a prybar, so I assumed it would be a tighter fit. Not so much.
