This fireplace can also be customized with your choice of either an intermittent pilot or millivolt ignition system. The intermittent pilot ignition system option eliminates the need for a standing pilot to save energy--and money. In the event of a power outage, this system can also be operated completely on battery backup. Alternatively, this fireplace can be purchased with a millivolt valve. The millivolt system utilizes a standing pilot and can be used with a convenient remote control (sold separately).
