The ASI 6474-2 Waste Receptacle is a semi-recessed waste disposal unit intended for commercial washroom facilities where there is a rough opening that measures 15-3/4 inches in width by 38-1/2 inches in height by 4-1/4 inches in depth in a wall or partition. The receptacle extends from the mounting surface by 2-1/2 inches after installation. Capable of holding up to 12 gallons of waste, the unit is made of 18-8 alloy, type-304 stainless steel. The full-face door is of 18-gauge thickness, while the cabinet's steel is slightly thinner at 20 gauge. Measuring 3/16 of an inch in diameter, a multi-staked piano hinge joins the door to the cabinet. Two tumbler locks are included in the design to keep the enclosed waste container secured. The container is made of stainless steel and has a finger grip to make it easy to remove for emptying. An opening that measures 13-1/4 inches in width is provided at the top of the unit for accepting trash.
