This is a replica M14 Rifle that is based off the M1 Garand Rifle. the M14 was the standard issue US rifle from 1959 to 1970 before replaced by the M16 rifle.
This airsoft version is made from metal and polymer. With the imitation wood receiver and some internal parts are made of ABS plastic, and the Metal parts on this gun include the bolt carrier, iron sights and outer rifle barrel .
The stock on this weapon has a rubber stock pad that prevents the replica from slipping when holding it.
Apart from the magazine, most of the construction elements and including the trigger guard are made from steel.
The cheek rest that is located on the stock is made from polymer. You can adjust it by sliding it and then tighten the screws to hold it secure. The cheek rest is great if you are rear iron sight set to high. (The Rear Iron sight can be adjusted vertically and horizontally)
The rifle has a nice feel and seems quite sturdy in your hands to hold, and when you reload using the guns metal bolt, it makes a nice sound.
At the heart of the M14 DMR is a V7 gearbox that allows this weapon to fire in both semi and fully automatic modes, and thanks to the long barrel of the weapon, it has good accuracy and range.
