Dieser druckvolle Syrah ist der perfekte Ausdruck des Gimblett Gravels Terroirs, wo sich das warme und trockene Mikroklima mit steinigen, gut drainierenden Böden verbindet. Diese Bedingungen üben Druck auf die Reben aus und erzeugen geschmacksintensive Syrah-Trauben, die viel Farbe und eine ausgeprägte pfeffrige Würze haben. Der Weinberg, der für diese besondere Abfüllung verwendet wird, ist mit einem historischen Syrah-Klon bepflanzt, der ursprünglich in den 1840er Jahren nach Neuseeland gebracht wurde. In der Kellerei werden die Trauben mit einheimischen Hefen in offenen Edelstahltanks vergoren. Der junge Wein wird dann für 17 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern gelagert. So entsteht ein kraftvoller und doch anmutiger Rotwein mit einem tiefvioletten Farbton und intensiven Aromen von Veilchen, Lavendel und Maraschinokirschen. Am Gaumen zeigt er ein üppiges Mundgefühl und einen vollen Körper mit gut abgerundeten Tanninen und einem langen, pfeffrigen Abgang mit Anklängen von Graphit und Leder. Ein großartiger Rotwein zu gebratenem Lammfleisch mit Kräutern oder sogar zu Linguine mit Tintenfisch.Shipping Notes

The toy is no match for my dogs.

The toy itself is well made and the squeaker work well. Unfortunately, it only lasted about 2 weeks before my Treeing Walker Coonhound pup (super chewer) had it shredded. My Plott hound ( heavy chewer) just loved these! She is older and they last longer for her. However she does love to go for the seems first then rips out the squeaker. But she will carry it around for months like that. I think she like the material. I'll probably go back to Walmart for the smaller cheaper ones for now.

My best friend brought her 16-month-old German Shepherd up for a visit and I happen to love him to pieces! A few months ago, I bought the smaller version of this same toy snake for him and he LOVED it. Many squeaker toys he has eventually torn up, as puppies and others do. The smaller only has a small tear in the butt-end from playing some minor tug of war with it. This larger version is made just as well and with the same materials. It is very durable, but there are no toys indestructible. The only difference is the length, and it has 6 JUMBO squeakers as opposed to 5 smaller ones. It got here on the day of this post and he has not stopped playing with it! Now if you’re one that squeakers get on your nerves, this is not for you. But, if you’re like me and truly enjoy watching (and hearing) a fur baby having so much fun, then buy this now! The price is very reasonable in my humble opinion. It is Ryker Der Hauswolf approved and I recommend it.

Absolutely one of the best chew toys I've ever bought my dog

Absolutely one of the best chew toys I've ever bought my dog. She's a lab-pit mix, about 70 lbs, loves to chew, and is almost pure muscle. There are no half-measures with my dog. When she plays tug of war, she's playing to win. Often, she ends up whipping her entire body back and forth violently to get that thing out of your hands. Playing with her feels like you're pulling against a freight truck. I've never had a plush chew toy last longer than 15-20 minutes. It rips, and suddenly out comes all the stuffing and squeakers. Impossible. I just stopped buying her plush toys altogether, which was such a shame because I know that's her favorite thing ever. But when I saw this on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, nothing is truly invincible. BUT THIS THING IS TOUGH! It's my dog's favorite, she loves the squeakers so much, and so we've played tug of war or keep away nearly every day since I bought it. Yeah, there's a small hole in it now, the fur's a little matted and it doesn't look at pretty as when I bought it, BUT IT STILL LIVES! It's lasted three whole months, which is miracle given my dog's seriously aggressive play style. Squeakers are intact, the black lining has held up, I really can't believe it. I've even given her free reign with it over the past couple of weeks, as I have another one saved for the day this finally dies. Even though she's allowed to take this thing behind the couch and really go at it in a serious chew session, she can't break that black lining. Amazing product.

Cute? Yes! Durable? Not so much…

Upon opening this toy I was hopeful that it would last my dog (medium size beagle mix) quite a while. While he enjoyed it, he was able to start ripping it up less than 24 hours after getting it. Now 10 days later, he’s completely destroyed it. He was able to rip open all layers of material, pull them apart, and tear all the squeakers out. While the squeakers are large, they could be a choking hazard for a large dog. Based on the advertised “durability” of this toy and how little time it lasted my dog, I would not purchase it again.
