Bei den CHERRY POWER Kapseln von Health+ Nutrition handelt es sich um einen Extrakt aus der Montmorency Kirsche, genauer gesagt um CherryPURE®.

Während man in Deutschland viele Kirschbäume findet, wird diese besondere Art der Kirschen ausschließlich in den USA angebaut und wird dort seit 1852 gezüchtet. Ein Grund dafür ist das besondere Klima in Michigan, USA. Diese Kirschenart wird auch als die "Königin der Sauerkirschen" bezeichnet.

Für unsere CHERRY POWER Kapseln wird ein 50:1 Extrakt verwendet, was bedeutet, dass man für 1000 g Extrakt 50.000 g (50 kg) Montmorency Kirschen benötigt.

Neben Mineralstoffen, Vitaminen und sekundären Pflanzenstoffen sind aber vor allem die Anthozyane und Polyphenole in den Kirschen interessant. Denn die Menge ist so hoch, wie bei keiner anderen Kirschsorte!

Anthozyane haben mehrere gesundheitliche Vorteile und sind auch für Sportler interessant. Sie gehören zu den sekundären Pflanzenstoffen, genauer gesagt zu den Flavonoiden welche den Lebensmitteln die rote Farbe verleihen.

Der Montmorency Kirsche werden viele Wirkungen nachgesagt und einige wurden in klinischen Untersuchungen belegt. Dazu gehören antioxidantive, antikanzerogene, schlaffördernde und antientzündliche Wirkungen. Aber auch Menschen mit rheumatische Beschwerden wie Gicht können von der Einnahme von CHERRY POWER Kapseln profitieren ebenso wie Menschen mit hohen Harnsäure-Werten.

Durch den hohen Anteil an Anthozyanen und der stark entzündungshemmenden Wirkung wird die Montmorency Kirsche in der Medizin sogar mit Schmerzmitteln verglichen!
