Die Riserva 2021 aus der Toplage Valmaggiore — biodynamischer Nebbiolo vom Feinsten. Im Vergleich zur 2020er Riserva bringt der kuehle, elegante Jahrgang 2021 noch mehr Finesse und Praezision mit. Luca Faccenda laesst seine besten Trauben laenger reifen und erzeugt einen Wein, der die Eleganz des Roero mit erstaunlicher Tiefe verbindet.

Leuchtendes Granatrot mit zartem Ziegelton. Die Nase entfaltet Teerose, Sauerkirsche, Lakritz, Tabak und eine feine Trueffelnote. Am Gaumen ist der Wein straff und elegant mit seidigemTannin und einer lebhaften, tragenden Saeure. Bei 14 % Alkohol hat er Substanz, doch der 2021er-Jahrgang verleiht ihm eine kuehlere Stilistik als der Vorgaenger. Das Finish ist lang und mineralisch mit einem Hauch getrockneter Kraeuter.

Ein hervorragender Nebbiolo fuer die gehobene Tafel. Zu geschmortem Kalbfleisch, Risotto al Barolo, Tajarin mit weissem Trueffel oder einer Auswahl piemontesischer Kaese. Dekantieren empfohlen.
