The rounds of the game move through the seasons, each season having its own thematic impact on the Biome. In the simultaneous play phase, you draw cards and gather resources to place a plant or animal in your Biome and earn points. Play your birds and rabbits alongside plants so that in the spring they will nest and have chicks and baby rabbits! But beware, in the summer your opponents’ predators are on the prowl. Protect your young animals by playing more plants in each habitat. Earn points for successful hunts and by feeding your young animals. Add the optional Natural Disasters mini-expansion to add extra variability and the harsh realities of nature to your Biome game.
